Between December 27, 2010 and January 16, 2011 Patricia, Naima, Beatrice, Daniel and Ja’Tovia traveled to Comier to begin the next stages of the healing project. We worked in partnership with the Assocation Planteur Mango de Comier Leogane, local artists, builders, and healers to commemorate the anniversary of the earthquake, build a monument to honor its victims, implement a mental wellness clinic, and facilitate art and music therapy workshops for youth. We are now gearing up to return in May to continue our collaboration with local partners, recommence community arts programming, and offer additional mental health services. We are grateful for all the support that has carried us here. THANK YOU!
